I'm Jess, a Littlehampton maternity photographer specialising in relaxed outdoor maternity photoshoots across Littlehampton, West Wittering, Worthing and the surrounding Sussex coastline.

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, your pregnancy deserves to be remembered exactly as it is—beautiful, powerful and full of anticipation.

If the thought of posing makes you cringe, you're in the right place. My maternity sessions are relaxed, natural and completely unhurried. We'll head to one of West Sussex's beautiful outdoor locations, take a gentle walk, chat about your pregnancy, and I'll quietly document the moments as they unfold.

There is no pressure to know what to do with your hands or how to stand; I'll gently guide you whenever you need it, while leaving plenty of space for genuine moments to happen naturally. The result? Timeless photographs that feel authentic, emotional and unmistakably you.

Whether you're a glowing mother-to-be or proudly showing off your bump-to-be, our sessions are designed to capture the essence of this magical time. I totally get it, though, you really aren’t feeling the pregnancy glow, and you may not be feeling at your best? My pregnancy was tough. I was in and out of hospital and felt horrendous. The idea of doing my hair and putting make-up on was the last thing on my mind, but at 34 weeks, I put my big girl pants on and went for it. They are memories I still look back on, and I am SO pleased I did it.

When should I book my maternity session?

The best time to book your Littlehampton maternity photoshoot is after your 20-week scan, with your session taking place between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. By this stage, your bump has a beautiful, defined shape, while you're hopefully still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy a relaxed walk along the beach.

Every pregnancy is different, so if you're expecting twins, have a high-risk pregnancy, or simply feel you'd like your session a little earlier, we can tailor it to suit you.

I always recommend getting in touch a few months in advance, especially if you're hoping for a golden-hour session at Littlehampton East Beach, as evening and weekend dates fill up quickly. Together, we'll choose the perfect date to capture this incredible chapter before your little one arrives.
